We all agree that Abraham Damar Grahita is the most prominent local player in the league. Of course, this statement is not a bolt from the blue but a reality that is also equipped with data and facts.

One of them was last week where the man who is familiarly called Bram again made something that will be remembered and recorded by every person in the basketball industry. Yes, Bram scored his 2000th point in Bandung, a city that always has a place in his heart.

Furthermore, we summarize a special interview with Abraham Damar Grahita starting from 2000 points to his plans and hopes for the future in basketball.

How does Bram feel to be able to achieve this achievement in a city that always has memories for you but comes as an opponent?

As for 2000 points, actually it's not a big deal for me to think about because from the beginning I didn't know how much it was and no one told me either haha. Then of course it's amazing to be able to enter this elite line-up in Bandung. Because I always like Bandung, this city has a myriad of stories and memories for me that I can't possibly forget. I've played there, against Prawira it was always exciting and they also have very fanatical and attractive supporters. Well, the point is it's fun.

Have you ever thought that Bram would enter the elite ranks like this since he started playing professional basketball?

At the beginning of my career, I didn't think too much about it, I just saw this as motivation. In fact, I thought more about my own process to develop in basketball and thank God I've been able to get to this point.

Not even two seasons with Satria Muda Pertamina, but I've already received 2 individual awards. League MVP and this 2000 point achievement. Does this make Bram satisfied?

No, I haven't brought Satria Muda to victory yet, hehe. Because clearly my motivation now is to bring SM to victory so that I can be side by side with other SM legends.
Up to this point, do you still feel like you have empty spaces to develop, Bram, both as a team and as an individual?

Wow, yes, of course there are still a lot, especially now that we all know that our league level is getting higher. Also, foreign players who come here also have extraordinary quality and experience. And that is actually what we have to learn from. A simple example is that I want to have the same capacity to hold the ball as foreign players and that obviously has to go through the training and practice process. In addition, another important factor is of course a prime physique.

Bram was absent for a year here for overseas in Japan and after returning from there, Bram's game developed greatly and won 2 awards. Is overseas an important factor for the growth and development of a basketball athlete?

Haha, it's important because if you want to develop, you have to see the outside world because in the end we know that there are still many who are better. Above the sky there is still a sky, so to speak. And that actually makes us more motivated to have the same level as them and also have a broader mindset in the game. Yes, if we really like basketball, we definitely want to continue to develop and develop.

Have you ever given advice about overseas to other players, of course for a better purpose?

Yes, but first I suggest them to have a good agent because it's impossible for them to send direct messages to teams outside there haha. They still have to have a proper and clear mechanism to talk to the team management about how to do it better. And of course my suggestion is to dominate the Indonesian basketball league first before playing overseas. So it's like conquering what's in front of your eyes first before moving on to the next level.

Well, we often see Bram facing foreign players who seem ordinary. Their shooting in front is also okay and when defending, they're also not afraid. So where does that mentality grow from?

The main factor in my opinion is being a player for the Indonesian National Team because with that the frequency of meeting great players outside there becomes more frequent. We get to know what the standards of basketball players outside our league are like, how to play basketball properly is like this. So based on experience, in the end, for example, good defense is like this, so when in the league, we just have to apply it like that.

Then now Bram has 4thelab, so every time he trains them, does Bram always tell them the importance of having a strong mentality besides skills?

Hmm, actually in my opinion, mentality is something that cannot be measured, so the way to have a strong mentality is to have a good basic skill and fundamentals first. So we try to fix the measurable things first, like having a strong physique so we can do this movement or good shooting accuracy so we can do this and others. That's what's important in my opinion.

There was one kid who had participated in SM Camp last year and he really stood out among the others. When we chatted, it turned out that
