Moreover, there is the figure of Mas Taufik Hidayat there who with his wealth of experience and achievements as an athlete can provide input for the progress of the sport itself," said Bagir.
Meanwhile, Julian Chalias felt that the appointment of Taufik Hidayat as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports was also the right thing to do. Because according to him, having a former athlete who has been around and achieved will help everyone involved in the Ministry of Youth and Sports to make various decisions that support the athletes themselves.
"Honestly, I am a big fan of him and I think all sports lovers know who Taufik Hidayat is. Several times I have also seen him come to sports events that are not badminton such as the last DBL final, even coming to the IBL match. "Seeing his enthusiasm and frequent attendance at various sporting events, I am sure that he is the right person," concluded Julian.
